DEPOSIT POLICIES

 

We do require a deposit of half of the amount of the hedgehog(s).  This is a non-refundable deposit.  We will contact you through email or by telephone to let you know what the progress is of your  hedgehog(s).  You will have one week to pick up your or hedgehog(s) from the date said.  If we cannot reach you after numerous attempts, you will be charged $3.00 a day for the second week.  After the second week, the sugar glider(s) or hedgehog(s) will be up for sale and you will forfeit your deposit.   

If for some reason, you cannot keep your hedgehog(s), we will take them back for free and we will try to place them in a new home. 

PURCHASING POLICIES

You are required to do your research before purchasing a sugar glider or hedgehog from us.  We will help with any questions, if needed.  Upon bringing your new sugar glider or hedgehog home, you will need to have the proper set-up for housing and care.  It is also recommended to give your new sugar glider or hedgehog 48-72 hours to get used to its new environment. 

Many pets require considerable time, attention, and patience in order for them to become comfortable with their surroundings as well as with their new owners. We do handle our sugar gliders and hedgehogs to be tame upon leaving our facility.  Any temperament changes that occur after they leave our facility is generally due to the change of environment or how they are being handled and we have no control over this and cannot guarantee anything or refund due to temperament change. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on animals.

We guarantee that all our animals are free from any known health problems. We have no control in how you care for your new pet or how it will react to its new home so our health guarantees are only in reference to the care that we gave them. If your pet should die for unknown reasons, we require that you have a necropsy done from a veterinarian who is familiar with that type of animal. If the death was related to care or diet issues, we will not be responsible.  If it is from congenital problems, or a pre-existing disease, we will replace the animal with a new one, and if one is not available at that time, you will be notified when one becomes available.

Our animals are guaranteed to be free from congenital health problems for 7 days from the time of purchase. Should something happen to your pet within the first 7 days of you owning your pet, we will replace the animal at no charge only if we are given a necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian stating that the problem was existing or dating from birth. This does NOT include accident, negligence, and treatable or communicable illnesses. Please contact your veterinarian and us as soon as you have health concerns about your pet.
