I had wanted some sugar gliders for a couple of years.   I did a lot of research to make sure  I  would and could take care of them the way they needed to be.  I was at Leesburg bikefest in October and saw them there.  I talked with the person there and I know I wanted to get some.  It took me three to four months to find someone selling them.  I found a couple of people selling them in the central Florida area.  One of the places I called was the sugargliderpetshop.  I spoke to Liz for a couple of weeks along with some others.  I settled on buying from Liz, because she told me they would be hand raised.  Liz was and still is very helpful.  At the time she had one male white face blonde and two female lion head sisters  a week older.   I decided to buy one of the females and the white face blonde.  They were not ready to be picked up yet.  I had to wait about 7 weeks.  In the mean time I spoke to Liz about once a week, (had lots of questions) and she would e-mail me pictures while they were growing.  When they were ready I went to pick them up.  At her place I met them for the first time.  Both of them crawled on me and let me pet them.  The male found his way to my pants pocket and went inside and went to sleep.  He only crabbed when I tried to get him out.  The female never crabbed.  After couple of weeks Liz e-mailed me to check on them.  I had called to ask questions a couple of times and she was very helpful.  I still let Liz know how our babies are doing.   I have had Maverick and Dakota now for little over three months and I an having a blast with them.   Thank you Liz   Jerry/THEHYLAND Orlando, FL    I just wanted to let you know that Jr. is doing great. He is actually sitting on my shoulder watching me type right now. He has a wounderful personality and is warming up great to me and my other glider. I actually think that he is helping with the other gliders bonding as well. We get them both out and they both get their tent time each night. Words can't express how happy I am with my beautiful Sugar Glider.  Such a big personality in such a small body. I highly recommend Liz (the breeder) who made sure my little Joey was healthy and tame.  It made the transition so easy.  Then it was up to me to form a bond with my little girl.  All it took was patience and gentleness.  Sugar gliders get lonely, but I don't work outside the home and have plenty of time to spend with her.  She gets in her bonding bag, I zip it up and we go everywhere together. If you are unsure I suggest you talk to Liz, she is qualified to answer any questions and steer you in the right direction.   Linda A. My name is Becky and I have two baby gliders.everything has gone great and they are so much fun to play with. i found out that they like to play with strings and they love to play with you. Once you let them out of the cage its hard to get them back in there, they just wnat to keep playing...i love my babies and i would recommend them to anyone... Becky Lakeland Florida

We wanted to let you know that the little boy is doing fantastic! He is the sweetest suggie I have ever met. He hardly crabs at all, and he loves curling up inside of my shirt during the day. He's eating great and seems to be in perfect health. We can't thank you guys enough for bringing this little fuzzball of joy into our lives!
